Comedian Lee Jin-ho Saved by Former Super Junior Member Kangin After Brain Hemorrhage

Recent reports have revealed that comedian Lee Jin-ho, who was rushed to the hospital following a sudden brain hemorrhage, owes his life to the quick thinking of former Super Junior member Kangin.

According to industry sources on April 14, it was Kangin who first sensed something was wrong and dialed emergency services (119) when Lee collapsed on April 1. The two were reportedly on a phone call when Lee began losing consciousness.

The Golden Time Rescue An official familiar with the situation stated, "Lee Jin-ho collapsed in his yard and sustained significant injuries from the fall. Thanks to Kangin’s immediate report, Lee was transported to the hospital within the critical 'golden hour.' He is currently focusing on his recovery."

Lee’s agency, SM C&C, provided an update on his condition: "He is currently receiving treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU). We are monitoring his progress to determine when he can be moved to a general ward."

A Period of Self-Reflection Lee Jin-ho, who rose to fame through the SBS comedy segment 'Woong’s Father' in 2005, had been away from the spotlight. In October 2024, he admitted to illegal online gambling, leading to a halt in all professional activities. His reputation took a further hit during his hiatus when he was caught in a drunk driving accident with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.11%, a level warranting license revocation.

Despite his past controversies, the news of his medical emergency and the dramatic rescue by his longtime colleague has drawn significant public attention.
