The Michelin Guide announced on the 20th that it has released the list of "Bib Gourmand" restaurants in Seoul and Busan ahead of the publication of the "Michelin Guide Seoul & Busan 2025."

Michelin Bib Gourmand refers to restaurants that have not received a "Michelin Star" but offer excellent food at reasonable prices of 45,000 won or less per person. A total of 77 Bib Gourmand restaurants were selected this year. 58 in Seoul and 19 in Busan.

14 restaurants (10 in Seoul, 4 in Busan) were newly selected for Bib Gourmand. Myeon Seoul is a restaurant opened in Sinsa-dong, Seoul last year by Chef Kim Do-yoon, who runs Yoon Seoul. Yoon Seoul has won 1 Michelin star for three consecutive years from 2022 to last year.

Myeon Seoul was opened at the request of customers to sell the self-made noodle dishes that were served at Yoon Seoul separately. Noodles are made from whole wheat, mung beans, and white beans without chemical additives. For the best combination, domestic, French, and Turkish whole wheat are mixed. It is recommended to enjoy a glass of traditional Korean liquor sold as an after-meal drink.

"Mi Pil Dam," a restaurant specializing in North Korean-style hand-made dumpling soup, "Seogyo Nanmyeonbang," a noodle restaurant, "Seoryeong," a buckwheat noodle restaurant, "Alt A," a vegan Chinese restaurant, "Okdol Hyeonok," a buckwheat restaurant, "Yuhan," a Thai bistro, "Gomtang Lab," a gomtang (beef bone soup) restaurant, "Neungdong Minari," a restaurant specializing in minari (water dropwort), and "Nishimura Men Seoul," a restaurant by Japanese chef Nishimura Takahito of Fukuoka, were also newly selected for Bib Gourmand in Seoul.

In Busan, four places were added: "Baegil Pyeongnaeng," famous for being "a cold noodle restaurant that operates for only 100 days," "Bibi Jae," a bibimbap restaurant, "Jeongjilgan," a Busan-style pork soup restaurant, and "Hanwol Gwan," a gomtang restaurant.

The list of restaurants that received Michelin stars this year will be released at the Michelin Guide Seoul & Busan 2025 guide launch event to be held at the Westin Chosun Seoul on the morning of the 27th.
