Gangwon Tourism Organization - Kakao Shopping Live Special Promotion

Gangwon State and the Gangwon Tourism Organization announced that they will hold a special Gangwon tourism product promotion starting Monday, November 9, on Kakao Shopping Live.

Through Kakao Shopping Live, a total of 6 live broadcasts will be held, featuring stay-type tourism products that highlight the unique characteristics of participating accommodations, along with various discount benefits. In each broadcast, a 30,000-won discount coupon will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis to the first 300 people, and discount coupons ranging from 5,000 won up to 20,000 won depending on the purchase amount will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis every day at 5:00 PM. Special benefits prepared independently by the accommodations participating in the live broadcasts are also drawing attention. Composed so that tourists can enjoy Gangwon travel at more reasonable prices, the promotion offers various benefits including products with discounts of up to 81%, room upgrades, and breakfast and amenity usage benefits.

The organization expects that this special exhibition will provide practical travel benefits to tourists and new sales opportunities for the provincial lodging industry.

Yun Tae-hwan, Head of the Headquarters at the Gangwon Tourism Organization, stated, “This special exhibition is an effort to expand sales channels for the provincial tourism industry during a period of declining tourism demand,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen marketing that leads to practical purchases and regional visits by tourists, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of Gangwon's tourism industry.”
