Paraguay Open 2025 Set to Showcase Top Tennis Talent in Asunción

Asunción, Paraguay – The prestigious Paraguay Open is set to return to the Club Internacional de Tenis (CIT) for its 2025 edition, promising a week of thrilling tennis action from March 16th to 23rd. The official launch event, held at delSol Shopping & lifestyle on Wednesday, March 5th, generated considerable excitement among tennis enthusiasts and sports fans alike.

The tournament, an ATP Challenger Tour event, is expected to draw a strong field of international and local players, all vying for a share of the $100,000 prize pool. This significant purse underscores the tournament's growing importance on the South American tennis circuit.

Dates: March 16-23, 2025
Location: Club Internacional de Tenis (CIT), Asunción, Paraguay
Prize Money: $100,000
Tournament Director: Ricardo Mena
Qualifying Rounds: The qualifying phase (Qualy) will kick off on Sunday, March 16th, featuring approximately 70 players.
Main Draw: The main draw commences on Monday, March 17th, with matches starting at 4:00 PM on the CIT's central courts.
Featured Players:Daniel Vallejo: Ranked 195th in the world and 2024 ATP Challenger de São Leopoldo champion.
Local talents: Martín Vergara, Hernando Escurra, and Santino Núñez.

The initial rounds of the tournament will be free of charge.
Tickets will be required for the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals (for non-CIT members):Friday, March 21st: G. 32,100

Sunday, March 23rd: G. 85,600
Tickets will be available for purchase through the tuti platform in the coming days.
Access to the venue will be via José Pappalardo Street (Gate 7).
CIT members will have free entry.
