Gangwon State, along with the four cities and counties along the Misiryeong Healing Road (Sokcho-si, Hongcheon-gun, Inje-gun, and Goseong-gun) and the Gangwon Tourism Organization (CEO Choi Sung-hyun, hereinafter referred to as the Organization), announced that it will operate the from October 22 to November 30 to encourage autumn travelers to extend their trips into overnight stays and local tourism.
This promotional event is conducted in partnership with the leisure platform NOL, operated by Nol Universe. It provides a 20,000-won accommodation discount coupon on a first-come, first-served basis to customers booking accommodations worth 50,000 won or more across the four regions. Through this initiative, the Organization aims to ease the burden of accommodation costs for travelers and encourage extended stays and tourism spending in areas along the Misiryeong Healing Road.
The discount coupons can be used when booking various lodging facilities—such as hotels, pensions, and motels—located in the four cities and counties, with the eligible stay period running through November 30. Detailed conditions regarding coupon issuance and usage can be found on the promotion's detail page.
The Misiryeong Healing Road is a scenic drive connecting Sokcho, Hongcheon, Inje, and Goseong, offering travelers a chance to enjoy autumn foliage and mountain landscapes while fully experiencing the charm of Gangwon's national highways. The Organization expects that this accommodation promotion will shift travel patterns from simple passing drives to stay-based tourism connecting nearby attractions and lodging facilities, thereby contributing to the revitalization of local tourism.
Choi Sung-hyun, CEO of the Gangwon Tourism Organization, stated, "The Misiryeong Healing Road is a travel route where visitors can drive along Gangwon's beautiful nature while experiencing the unique charms of each region. We hope that through this accommodation promotion, more people will visit the Misiryeong Healing Road to enjoy autumn travel, stay in nearby areas, and experience Gangwon's diverse tourism contents."
Detailed information regarding the promotional event can be found on the Gangwon Tourism Organization website and the promotion detail page within the NOL platform.
