The event features Recruitment, Promotion, Consulting, and Experience Pavilions… The 'Recruitment Pavilion' will host on-site interviews and job counseling with around 220 companies, including regional leaders and KB-recommended enterprises.
The City of Busan (Mayor Jeon Jae-soo) announced that it will co-host the "2026 KB Good Job Busan JOB Festival" with the Ministry of Employment and Labor and KB Kookmin Bank on October 26 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Exhibition Hall 1 (Hall 1) of BEXCO.
Twenty-eight regional affiliated organizations, including the Busan Economic Promotion Agency, the Busan Regional Employment and Labour Administration, and the Busan Regional Small and Medium Venture Businesses Administration, will participate as co-organizers to support the participation of outstanding companies and manage various programs.
Under the subtitle "Find My JOB, Open Busan's Tomorrow," this year's event is designed as an integrated job fair that encompasses all generations, from youth to the middle-aged and seniors. The main programs include a Recruitment Pavilion, Promotion Pavilion, Consulting Pavilion, Experience Pavilion, employment lectures and corporate briefings, side events, and on-site activities.
In particular, this year’s event enhances on-site convenience for job seekers while expanding customized employment support and benefits for both companies and participants.
Job registration has been computerized, and QR codes will be issued to streamline the registration and interview process. Post-event follow-up management, such as additional job matching, will be provided to job seekers who do not find employment during the fair.
To support the re-employment of female job seekers and workers in the distribution and logistics sectors, a new "Women-Friendly & Distribution-Logistics Pavilion" has been established, offering tailored career counseling and recruitment information.
At the policy experience-type special promotion pavilion, "Tomorrow Tea House," participants can choose and experience a "policy tea" tailored to their employment concerns and learn about relevant policies.
The maximum number of eligible hires for the regular employment support subsidy has been increased from 5 to 10 workers, and up to 500 interview participants will receive a KRW 10,000 support grant. A talk concert featuring film director Jang Hang-jun will also be held, where he will share stories of courage and challenge toward dreams.
At the opening ceremony starting at 11:00 AM, a "Slate Ceremony" will be held to cheer on job seekers' fresh starts and companies' recruitment of talent. Utilizing a film production slate, the performance will be conducted together with participating job seekers, symbolizing a fresh start for job seekers and an encounter with new talent for companies.
The "Recruitment Pavilion" will feature on-site interviews and job counseling by some 220 companies, including regional standout firms and KB-recommended enterprises. The city has structured the pavilion to reflect Busan’s industrial and corporate characteristics—such as women-friendly, distribution-logistics, and future growth sectors—providing job seekers with diverse employment information.
The "Promotion Pavilion" consists of the "Policy Promotion Pavilion," which introduces employment policies and support projects by the city and participating organizations, and the "Special Experience Pavilion," where job seekers can participate directly. At the Special Experience Pavilion, participants can explore their employment concerns using reusable cups and concern stickers, receiving matched "Job Policy Tea" and support project guidance. In addition, a "Vow for Tomorrow" writing activity and a receipt review event will be held to encourage job seekers in their endeavors.
The "Consulting Pavilion" will provide customized employment/career counseling and resume/interview consulting tailored to different demographics, including youth, middle-aged individuals, and seniors. Through expert counseling and experiential programs, the city will support job seekers in gathering all the information they need for job preparation in one place.
Job seekers wishing to participate can apply in advance on the official event website (https://bsjobfestival.kr) or register on-site on the day of the event. A first-come, first-served event will be held for job seekers who visit the venue after applying in advance by tomorrow (the 23rd).
Detailed information regarding participating companies, side events, and activities can be found on the event website (https://bsjobfestival.kr). For further inquiries, please contact the Busan Job Comprehensive Center (☎ 051-888-6916).

He added, "The city will act as a solid stepping stone to ensure that every generation can unleash their potential and work with stability."
