The Korea Council on Youth Organizations (KCYO, President: Go Myeong-jin) successfully concluded its “60th Anniversary Ceremony” on December 8th at 5:00 p.m. at the International Youth Center in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. Attended by approximately 200 former and current executives, former National Assembly Vice Speakers and members, heads of youth organizations, related institution directors, youth leaders, and young people, it was a meaningful time to look back on the youth movement of the past 60 years and jointly seek a vision for the coming 100 years. The ceremony was held under the slogan, “60 Years with Youth, 100 Years to Open with Youth.” Lee In-seon, Chairperson of the National Assembly Gender Equality and Family Committee, sent a congratulatory message, and Won Min-gyeong, Minister of Gender Equality and Family, sent a written congratulatory address. Furthermore, Son Yeon-gi, President of the National Youth Activity Promotion Agency of Korea, and Gwon Il-nam, President of the Korea Youth Training Facilities Association, congratulated KCYO's 60-year history through their speeches. The “KCYO 60-Year Storytelling Zone,” which displayed materials from the early days of its founding to the modern youth movement, was operated within the venue and garnered significant interest from the attendees.
