- 22nd: School-Out Youth Cultural Festival and Career Fair Held… Featuring a Career Talk with the Governor

On October 22, Chungcheongnam-do announced that it held the 6th Chungnam School-Out Youth Cultural Festival and Career Fair, titled "On:Stage," at the Naepo Aehyang Park lawn square, with around 200 school-out youth and attendees in attendance.

Hosted by the province and organized by the Chungnam Social Service Agency, this event was designed to allow school-out youth to experience various cultural activities, explore their dreams and career paths, and build confidence and a sense of challenge for the future.

The event featured cultural performances where youths showcased their talents and skills, alongside a career fair that offered hands-on experiences across various occupations to help participants explore their career paths. Participating youths enjoyed arts and culture while taking the opportunity to examine their aptitudes and fields of interest.

In particular, a career talk featuring Governor Park Soo-hyun and school-out youth provided a space to share concerns about career paths and the future, while discussing individual dreams and challenges.

Governor Park cheered on the school-out youths' challenges toward their dreams and futures, stating that the province will continue to provide steady interest and support so that each youth can explore their career path and design their future at their own pace and in their own circumstances.

Moving forward, the province plans to strengthen customized support so that school-out youths can build their capabilities in various fields such as career and vocational development, arts and culture, and independence, growing into healthy members of society.

Lee Jong-ik, Director-General of the Youth and Women's Bureau of the province, remarked, "Everyone takes a different path and speed to find their dream," adding, "We will support youths walking their own paths outside of school so that they can believe in their potential and boldly take on challenges."
