Bilateral Relations:Singapore is Vietnam's largest ASEAN trading partner and 4th largest globally.
Bilateral trade exceeded $10.3 billion in 2024, a 14.7% increase year-on-year.
Singapore is Vietnam's top ASEAN investor and 2nd largest globally (3,951 projects, over $83 billion invested).
Over 347,000 Singaporean tourists visited Vietnam in 2023.
Cooperation spans finance, banking, resources and environment, education, and judiciary.

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – The "Vietnam-Singapore Sustainability Forum 2025" convened in Ho Chi Minh City, fostering discussions on sustainable business development and enhanced green collaboration between Vietnamese and Singaporean enterprises. The forum, attended by key figures and business leaders from both nations, including Singapore's Consul General Pang Te Chang, reaffirmed the strong economic partnership and set joint goals for a sustainable future.

Consul General Pang Te Chang, in his opening address, emphasized Singapore's position as Vietnam's largest ASEAN trading and investment partner, noting the continuous growth in bilateral trade and investment. He expressed confidence that the forum would strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation between businesses and institutions.

Experts and business leaders from Singapore, including Earnest Yoong, Clarice Chan, Bernard Lim, and Vincent Choi, delivered presentations and engaged in discussions on sustainable business development and the significance of green certification. Bernard Lim highlighted green certification as essential for securing new market and business opportunities in the global supply chain, citing the Singapore Building and Construction Authority's integration of environmental sustainability into tender evaluations.

Luu Thi Thanh Mau, CEO of Phuc Khang Corporation, representing Vietnam, shared insights into Vietnam's eco-friendly building development and experiences, proposing strategies for green building to enhance energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and promote circular economy growth. She expressed that Phuc Khang Corporation's green building strategy aligns with Singaporean enterprises' direction, creating opportunities for diverse collaboration.

The forum demonstrated the shared commitment of Vietnam and Singapore to sustainable development, establishing a crucial platform for realizing a green economy through bilateral business cooperation.
