Cheonan, South Korea – Cheonan City is expanding its senior employment program to provide more economic opportunities and enhance the quality of life for its elderly residents. The city announced today that it will be recruiting 4,708 participants for its 2025 Senior Employment and Social Activity Support Program, marking a 154-person increase from the previous year.
Diverse Employment Opportunities The program offers a variety of job types, including:
Senior Public Welfare Activities: Targeting individuals aged 65 and above who receive basic pensions.
Senior Capacity Building: Open to those aged 65 and above (or 60 and above for certain programs).
Community-Based Projects: Available to individuals aged 60 and above.
Employment Support (Job Placement): Also open to those aged 60 and above.
Convenient Application Process Applications can be submitted at nine designated agencies, including the Cheonan City Senior Club and the Cheonan City Branch of the Korean Association of the Elderly. The application period varies by agency, so interested individuals are advised to contact the specific agency for more details.
