ChungBok Culture and Arts Foundation highlights Chungbuk-specific wellness and clean organic rural resources, receiving favorable reviews for its nature-infused, all-senses-satisfying healing course

The ChungBok Culture and Arts Foundation announced that the "Global Foreigners Wellness Fam Tour," held in the Chungju and Eumseong areas from September 29 to 30 to promote the appeal of wellness tourism utilizing Chungbuk's clean nature and organic rural resources to the world, concluded with great success.

The fam tour targeted 20 foreign participants from various countries around the world, including Morocco, Spain, Russia, Egypt, Chile, Ukraine, and India. The participating global foreigners are influencers with up to 100,000 followers, and they are expected to generate secondary promotional effects among global audiences by sharing reviews and content production about Chungbuk wellness on various channels such as Instagram and TikTok after the tour.

In addition, moving away from simple sightseeing-oriented tourism, the program focused on an "all-senses-satisfying wellness healing" experience where participants from diverse cultural backgrounds healed their exhausted bodies and minds in Chungbuk's pristine nature while directly experiencing organic and rural cultures.

On the first day, the participants moved to Eumseong and enjoyed a forest walking therapy at "Maengdong Healing Forest," where the ecosystem of clean nature is well-preserved. Strolling along forest paths filled with fresh air and phytoncides, the participants relieved physical and mental fatigue and directly experienced the differentiated healing effects of Chungbuk wellness tourism. Afterward, they moved to Chungju to learn the value of Chungbuk's organic ecosystem at the "Chungju Organic Experience and Education Center" and made special memories through a "pressed flower diary-making" experience capturing the beauty of nature.

On the second day, a flower tea experience program was held at "Slow Farmer," a representative wellness rural space in Chungju. Brewing flower tea themselves, the participants had a healing time that stabilized their mind and body, accompanied by a slow walk through the tranquil village backside mountain to deeply feel the relaxation of rural life and the breath of nature.

A foreign participant who took part in the tour shared their thoughts, saying, "It was a very meaningful experience to escape the city and directly experience Korea's organic rural culture and differentiated wellness programs. It was the ultimate healing trip where I could completely focus on myself while feeling Chungbuk's nature with friends from various countries."

Kim Kyung-sik, CEO of the ChungBok Culture and Arts Foundation, stated, "This fam tour served as an opportunity to properly showcase the excellence of Chungbuk's proud organic/rural resources and wellness healing programs to foreigners of diverse nationalities from Asia, Europe, Africa, and South America. Moving forward, we will continue to discover specialized wellness and rural experience tourism contents unique to Chungbuk, transforming it into a representative wellness hub sought after by global tourists."
