Samyangsa Unveils New Commercial for Zero-Calorie Hangover Relief Drink, Sangkwaehwan Booster Zero

Samyangsa, a leading South Korean food company, announced today the release of a new commercial for its zero-calorie hangover relief drink, Sangkwaehwan Booster Zero. The commercial features actress Go Yoon-jung, who was recently appointed as the new brand model for Sangkwaehwan.

The commercial emphasizes "zero calories" as a new standard when choosing hangover relief drinks. It highlights the key factors consumers consider when selecting a hangover relief drink: fast relief and zero calories, and emphasizes that Sangkwaehwan Booster Zero fulfills both criteria.

The ad also emphasizes the product's four key features: zero calories, no sugar, no artificial coloring, and no preservatives through the model's gestures. The classic blue color of Sangkwaehwan is incorporated into objects such as a classic typewriter to create a young and trendy atmosphere. The upbeat background music, combined with the distinctive sound of a typewriter, enhances the ad's immersive experience.

Unlike the previous commercial, which celebrated the birth of a zero-calorie hangover relief drink, this new ad focuses on effectively conveying Sangkwaehwan's brand concept of "Young & Trendy" through the model, Go Yoon-jung. To achieve this, the ad features only the main model, creating a photo-like visual that exudes a sophisticated and trendy vibe.

The commercial will be aired on TV and various online channels, including the Sangkwaehwan website, YouTube, and Instagram, as well as outdoor advertising.

Launched in January this year, Sangkwaehwan Booster Zero contains glutathione to help alleviate hangovers quickly and uses allulose, a natural sweetener produced by Samyangsa, instead of sugar, making it zero calories. Designed for health-conscious consumers, the product is also free from artificial colors and preservatives. The refreshing taste of hibiscus and grapefruit makes it perfect for consumption before and after drinking.

"This commercial focuses on highlighting the youthful and trendy image of Sangkwaehwan through the charm of our model, Go Yoon-jung," said Hong Sung-min, head of H&B Business Unit at Samyangsa. "By creating a video that resembles a photo shoot, we aim to position Sangkwaehwan as the leading zero-calorie hangover relief brand in the industry."

Sangkwaehwan, launched in 2013 as a hangover relief product in pill form, introduced the convenient and tasty "Sangkwaehwan Stick" in 2019, leading the non-beverage hangover relief product market. In February last year, the company further expanded into the hangover relief drink market with the launch of "Sangkwaehwan Booster."
