SEOUL, South Korea – February 2, 2025 – LG Electronics (LG) is set to revolutionize the way we consume media with the launch of its latest innovation, the LG StanbyME 2. This upgraded lifestyle screen builds upon the success of its predecessor, offering enhanced mobility, improved display quality, and a range of new features designed to cater to the evolving needs of today's consumers.

The LG StanbyME 2 addresses customer feedback by introducing a detachable screen that can be used independently from the stand. This allows for greater flexibility in how and where the device is used. The screen部 now houses the battery, enabling up to 4 hours of use without a power connection. Charging is also made easy through a USB-C port on the screen.

"We've taken the strengths of the original StanbyME and incorporated customer feedback to create a truly versatile and user-friendly device," said [Spokesperson Name], [Title] at LG Electronics. "The StanbyME 2 is designed to adapt to your lifestyle, whether you're watching movies in bed, following a recipe in the kitchen, or video chatting with family and friends."

To further enhance its portability, LG offers a variety of accessories, including a dedicated cradle for tabletop use, a strap for easy carrying, and a wall mount for a sleek, picture-frame-like display.

The LG StanbyME 2 boasts a 27-inch QHD display, a significant upgrade from the previous FHD model. This ensures crisp, clear visuals for an immersive viewing experience. The screen is powered by LG's α8 Gen 2 AI processor, which optimizes both picture and sound quality based on the content being displayed.

In addition, the StanbyME 2 features far-field voice recognition, allowing users to control the device with simple voice commands such as, "Hi LG, what's the score of the game?" or "Turn up the volume."

The LG StanbyME 2 will be available for pre-order starting February 5th, with an official launch on February 21st.
