SEOUL – JobPlanet, the AI-driven career platform operated by HR tech firm WorkSphere, officially announced the winners of the "2026 JobPlanet Awards" on Tuesday. The awards recognize the top 0.01% of companies in South Korea, celebrated for providing exceptional working environments based on verified employee reviews.

The 2026 rankings were determined by analyzing comprehensive data collected throughout 2025 from over 470,000 companies nationwide. To ensure a multi-dimensional evaluation, JobPlanet categorized the winners into four distinct pillars: Salary & Benefits, Work-Life Balance, Career Growth, and Recruitment Experience.

Industry Giants Lead in Welfare and Balance
In the Salary & Benefits category, major players such as SK Telecom and Hyundai Mobis were recognized for their competitive compensation packages. Global firms like Applied Materials Korea and Electronic Arts (EA) Korea also secured spots, proving their commitment to rewarding talent at global standards.

For Work-Life Balance, Google Korea and SAP Korea maintained their reputation as dream workplaces. They were joined by domestic firms like Vieworks and Daehan Oil Pipeline Corporation, highlighting a growing trend where Korean industrial companies are increasingly prioritizing employee well-being alongside productivity.

Tech and Gaming Powerhouses Excel in Growth
The Career Growth category saw a strong presence from the tech and gaming sectors. Nexon Korea, NCSOFT, and the mobility platform Socar were lauded for offering environments where employees can rapidly scale their professional skills. Notably, Tokyo Electron Korea and Philip Morris Korea also earned high marks for their structured professional development programs.

Meanwhile, Naver Webtoon and UnivTomorrow stood out in the Recruitment Experience category, being praised by candidates for their transparent, respectful, and efficient hiring processes.

The ‘Planet Button’ as a Mark of Excellence
All 31 selected companies will be awarded the "Planet Button," JobPlanet’s official certification mark. This badge serves as a powerful branding tool, allowing companies to showcase their status as elite employers on recruitment pages and promotional materials.

"This year's awards reflect the evolving priorities of the modern workforce," a JobPlanet representative stated. The platform is currently enhancing its services through a strategic partnership with JobKorea, integrating high-fidelity review data with advanced job-matching algorithms to further streamline the domestic HR market.
