In a survey of 707 HR professionals conducted by Incruit, "culture fit" emerged as the top HR concern for 2025. This trend, which involves matching a job seeker's personality and values with a company's culture, has been gaining traction as businesses seek to improve employee retention and productivity.
"Culture fit" was followed closely by "employer branding," highlighting the increasing importance of company image in attracting top talent. With a tight labor market, businesses are investing more in their employer brand to stand out and attract the best candidates.
The survey also revealed concerns about the aging population and its impact on the workforce. With a growing number of baby boomers retiring, "growth in mid-career hiring" was identified as a significant HR issue. Additionally, the rising cost of living and economic uncertainty have led to a growing number of "job seekers giving up," posing a challenge to the overall health of the labor market.
The survey also highlighted the increasing trend of "continuous hiring," as companies seek to be more agile in responding to changing business needs.
