Seoul, South Korea – The Korea Professional Football League (K League) has announced a new initiative in collaboration with TikTok, the popular short-form video platform, to recruit a 'K League TikTok Crew'. This project aims to enhance fan engagement by leveraging the power of social media and creative content.
The 'K League TikTok Crew' is a fan-driven content project that will select one passionate creator for each of the 12 K League 1 clubs. These creators will be responsible for producing engaging and informative content related to their respective clubs, which will then be shared on TikTok.
The recruitment period is open until March 21st, and applications are welcome from any TikTok user with a strong passion for the K League. Preference will be given to applicants residing in the regions where their chosen clubs are based, ensuring local representation and connection.
Selected creators will receive a small activity fee and tickets to K League 1 matches, providing them with firsthand experiences to share with their audience. Outstanding performers will be rewarded with exclusive benefits, including invitations to the prestigious year-end K League Awards ceremony and support for producing content at stadiums or during club visits.
This initiative highlights the K League's commitment to connecting with its fans in innovative ways and utilizing the growing influence of short-form video content. By partnering with TikTok, the K League aims to reach a wider audience and create a more interactive and engaging experience for football fans across the country.
