Seoul, South Korea – LG Electronics has successfully concluded its inaugural Ambassador program, a unique initiative designed to amplify positive customer experiences through the voices of its most passionate fans.
The program, which launched earlier this year, saw over 70 individuals selected from a pool of over 1,400 applicants to become LG brand ambassadors. These ambassadors were tasked with creating engaging video content that showcased their personal experiences with LG products and services.
The ambassadors’ content resonated deeply with audiences, garnering a combined total of 8 million views and over 70,000 likes and comments across various social media platforms. The success of the program is attributed to the ambassadors’ ability to authentically connect with viewers by sharing personal anecdotes and stories that went beyond traditional product demonstrations.
One of the most popular videos, which garnered over 300,000 views, featured a college student sharing how their LG Gram laptop had become an indispensable companion throughout their remote learning experience.
The program also included a social media photo contest that invited LG customers to share their own product experiences. Over 200 customers participated, sharing tips and tricks, as well as heartwarming stories about their LG products.
Encouraged by the overwhelming positive response, LG Electronics plans to launch a second ambassador program in the first half of next year. The company also intends to provide ongoing opportunities for current ambassadors to participate in product previews and customer engagement programs, further strengthening the bond between the brand and its loyal customer base.
“We were inspired by the outpouring of love and support from our customers and wanted to create a platform for them to share their stories,” said Jung Su-jin, head of brand communications at LG Electronics. “By empowering our customers to become brand ambassadors, we hope to foster a deeper connection with them and create a more meaningful brand experience.”
