The International WeLoveU Foundation is launching a large-scale global campaign to promote the importance of blood donation, a noble act of sharing that saves lives, and to encourage participation. The '2025 Worldwide Blood Donation Campaign,' held under the slogan "Saving one life is like saving the whole world," will take place on Sunday, March 30th, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the National Blood Center (Centro Nacional de Servicios de Sangre, Avenida General Santos c/ Herminio Giménez, next to Emergencias Médicas) in Asunción, Paraguay.

This campaign is organized to widely promote the value of blood donation, which is essential for saving the lives of patients in need of blood transfusions, and to expand voluntary participation in blood donation. The WeLoveU Foundation stated, "Blood is the only means to save the lives of patients requiring transfusions, and there is currently no substitute," emphasizing the importance of blood donation.

Importance of Blood Donation, Improving Awareness, and Encouraging Voluntary Participation

The lack of awareness and low participation in voluntary blood donation are persistent issues worldwide. In response, the International WeLoveU Foundation, a cooperation NGO of the UN DGC (Global Communications Department), continuously holds the 'Worldwide Blood Donation Campaign' to contribute to resolving these issues.

WeLoveU Foundation officials, including Cynthia Riquelme, Christian Cáceres, and Romina Sánchez, will actively participate in this campaign to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and encourage participation. The foundation stated, "We hope that many people will join us in this campaign, which will serve as an opportunity to improve awareness about blood donation and encourage more people to voluntarily participate."

How to Participate in Blood Donation and Inquiries

Anyone can participate in blood donation by visiting the National Blood Center of Paraguay on Sunday, March 30th, from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. For detailed inquiries regarding blood donation eligibility and procedures, please contact the International WeLoveU Foundation or the National Blood Center.
