JEJU, South Korea – The Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, in collaboration with the Jeju Youth Center, has announced the launch of its ‘2025 NEW Youth Together’ project, aimed at supporting and fostering youth club activities within the region. Applications for the program will be accepted from March 17th to 28th.
Under the slogan ‘It’s even more fun when we gather together,’ the ‘2025 NEW Youth Together’ project seeks to provide Jeju’s young residents with opportunities to engage in various club activities and build meaningful connections. This year, the project has introduced five new clubs, including Oreum, Art, Badminton, Volunteer, and Seogwipo Travel (Regional Development), to cater to the diverse interests of the youth.
Each club will accommodate 20 members, and any youth aged 19 to 39 who reside or are active in Jeju can apply. Selected clubs will receive up to 4 million won in activity expenses, allowing them to carry out their activities autonomously from April 12th to October 18th.
The ‘2025 NEW Youth Together’ project will also feature various networking opportunities for participants, including ‘Among Us’ for team building, ‘Together Among Us’ for sharing interests with other clubs, and the ‘Among Us Festival’ to showcase club activities.
Applications can be submitted through the Jeju Youth Center website (https://jejuyouth.com), and the final selection results will be announced on the website and through individual notifications.
An official from the Jeju Youth Center expressed their commitment to activating the youth network in Jeju by supporting club activities and providing opportunities for young people to share and communicate their interests. They encouraged the youth to apply and take advantage of this valuable opportunity.
