On the 8th, Chungnam Governor Park Soo-hyun attended the "3rd Chungnam Veterinarians Conference" held at Resplas Resom in Yesan, where he encouraged regional veterinarians and expressed his commitment to cooperation for the advancement of animal medical care and livestock disease prevention.

Hosted by the Chungnam Veterinary Medical Association, the event was organized to foster clinical veterinary advancements, strengthen professional capabilities, and promote unity among veterinarian members.

Attended by Governor Park and approximately 250 veterinary members, the program proceeded in the order of commendations for persons of merit, reading of a resolution, and a donation ceremony.

During the event, Governor Park awarded provincial governor commendations to two individuals who contributed to livestock disease prevention, and received a 10,000,000-won donation for regional development from the Chungnam Veterinary Medical Association.

In his remarks, Governor Park expressed his gratitude to the veterinarians who practice the value of respecting life across various fields, including the prevention of infectious livestock diseases, safety and sanitation management, companion animal treatment, and the protection of abandoned animals.

He also stated that to respond to catastrophic livestock infectious diseases such as Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (AI), African Swine Fever (ASF), and Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD), the province would strengthen the deployment of public veterinarians and on-site support, while also striving to support the foundation for continuing education to enhance clinical capabilities.

Governor Park remarked, "Veterinarians are experts who safeguard not only the lives of animals but also the health of provincial residents and the future of the livestock industry," adding, "When field expertise and the province's policy momentum align, Chungnam's animal medical care and livestock industry will open a path toward a new leap forward."
