Incheon, South Korea – Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on November 27th that it will be expanding its “Easy Drop” baggage check-in service, allowing passengers to check in their luggage at designated locations outside of the airport before their flight.

The Easy Drop service enables travelers to conveniently drop off their luggage at designated locations and pick it up at their destination airport, eliminating the need to carry heavy bags through the airport.

Currently, the service is available to passengers of Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, Jeju Air, and T’way Air. The service has been gradually expanded to various locations, including the Incheon Airport City, Inspire Integrated Resort, Paradise City, and the Holiday Inn Express in Mapo-gu, Seoul.

Starting November 28th, the Easy Drop service will be extended to the Myeongdong area, specifically near exit 9 of Myeongdong Station. This expansion is expected to be particularly convenient for foreign tourists.

Furthermore, the service is set to be expanded to the Gangnam area, including hotels and residences near Apgujeong Station and Sinsa Station, early next year.

“We anticipate that the expansion of the Easy Drop service will significantly enhance the convenience of passengers using Incheon Airport,” said Lee Hak-jae, president of Incheon International Airport Corporation. “We will continue to expand our differentiated smart services to improve passenger convenience and strengthen Incheon Airport's future competitiveness.”
