The event, a part of the global celebration of women's rights and achievements, is scheduled to commence at 10 a.m. in Pershing Square, located at 532 S. Olive St. Participants will then march towards City Hall at 200 N. Spring St.
The Women's March Foundation, the organizer of the event, has announced that the rally will feature a diverse lineup of speakers, live music performances, and discussions centered around "the next steps to keep our community engaged and empowered in the fight for equality." The event aims to address various issues affecting women, including gender equality, reproductive rights, and social justice.
Traffic Disruptions Expected
Authorities have issued warnings of potential traffic disruptions in the downtown area. Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes and plan for delays. Public transportation may also experience delays, as bus lines have already reported significant disruptions on Saturday morning.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) will be present to monitor the march and ensure public safety. According to LAPD Media Relations Section Officer Norma Eisenman, law enforcement anticipates a peaceful event. "We will be monitoring the march to ensure the safety of all participants and the public," Officer Eisenman stated. "However, we do not anticipate any specific issues."
