Coming on the 28th, the third 'Chungnam Museum of Art Lecture' at the Chungcheong Region Unification Plus Center

The Chungcheongnam-do provincial government is communicating with residents through art by exploring the lives of painters and the stories behind their works hidden in Impressionist masterpieces.

The province announced that it will host the third "Chungnam Museum of Art Lecture (CAM-Lectures)" at 2 PM on the 28th in the main conference room on the 2nd floor of the Chungcheong Region Unification Plus Center.

The Chungnam Museum of Art Lecture is a program designed to help residents understand art and museums easily and deeply. This year, the province has been meeting with residents by exploring Korean art trends and various cultural and arts themes alongside professional art journalists.

For this lecture, Sung Soo-young, an art specialist reporter at the Korea Economic Daily, will present under the theme "Impressionism: The Moments When Life Became Art." She will introduce representative Impressionist works, share the lives of the painters embedded within them, and tell behind-the-scenes stories entwined with the masterpieces.

Reporter Sung has covered the art market and exhibition fields, and has published the art culture book "The Completion of Masterpieces, Those People Back Then," which illuminates the lives of painters hidden behind their famous works.

Any provincial resident can participate in the lecture. Detailed information can be found on the official Chungnam Museum of Art social media (Instagram @chungnam.art.museum) or by inquiring with the province's Museum Preparation Division (041-635-2422).

A provincial official stated, "We hope that residents will feel art closer and more familiarly through this lecture," adding, "We will do our utmost in preparing for the opening so that the Chungnam Museum of Art can become a cultural space that grows together with the residents."
