Chungnam Fire Headquarters to provide real-time radio announcements on emergency dispatches... encouraging drivers to yield

The Chungnam Fire Headquarters announced on the 19th that it is cooperating with TBN Chungnam Traffic Broadcasting to provide real-time radio updates on emergency dispatch information to ensure the rapid deployment of fire vehicles.

This partnership was established to secure the golden time necessary for arriving at disaster sites and transporting emergency patients by quickly notifying drivers of emergency vehicle dispatches during major fires, various disasters, and severe medical emergencies.

Under the main agreement, when the 119 General Dispatch Center inputs critical information—such as emergency dispatch situations, vehicle locations, and travel directions—into the TBN Traffic Broadcasting reporting system, the station will broadcast the information live over the radio.

Target scenarios for broadcast include major disasters such as major fires, explosions, and structural collapses, as well as the transport of severe emergency patients, pregnant women expecting emergency childbirth, and major traffic accidents involving multiple casualties.

Kim Gwang-jin, Head of the 119 Response Division, stated, "Driver cooperation is vital for arriving swiftly at disaster sites and helping emergency patients. Through our cooperation with the traffic broadcasting network, we will improve the operational environment for emergency vehicles and do our utmost to protect the lives and safety of our residents."
