"One Year, One Voice"… Sharing the Value of Support with Citizens, Jeong Jae-young Inaugurated as 2nd Chairperson of the Supporters Club

Bucheon Arts Center (CEO Park Eun-hye) successfully held the 1st Anniversary Concert of the BAC Supporters Club, titled 「One Year, One Voice」, at the Bucheon Arts Center Concert Hall on Wednesday, October 21.

Prior to the commemorative concert, the inauguration and farewell ceremony for the chairperson of the supporters club took place, during which the 1st Chairperson Kim Jong-sul (CEO of Ilshin Electric Co., Ltd.) stepped down, and the 2nd Chairperson Jeong Jae-young (CEO of Chandle Food Co., Ltd.) took office. Bucheon Arts Center presented a plaque of appreciation to former Chairperson Kim Jong-sul for his contribution to the establishment of the supporters club and the creation of its stable foundation, expressing gratitude for his dedication and hard effort over the past year.

In his farewell speech, founding Chairperson Kim Jong-sul said, "I deeply thank all the supporters who united with one heart for the development of Bucheon's culture and arts, as well as CEO Park Eun-hye and the executives and staff of the Bucheon Arts Center," adding, "I hope the supporters club will take another step forward and grow based on the passion and leadership of incoming Chairperson Jeong Jae-young."

In his inaugural address, the newly appointed 2nd Chairperson Jeong Jae-young stated, "I deeply thank the founding Chairperson Kim Jong-sul for laying the foundation of the supporters club over the past year," and expressed his ambition, saying, "Moving forward, I will do my best to ensure that the value of support leads to expanded opportunities for more citizens to enjoy culture and arts, and that the BAC Supporters Club grows into a steadfast partner connecting the local community and culture and arts."

The following commemorative concert began with a silent tribute to honor a recently deceased firefighter from Bucheon, commemorating the noble sacrifice and sharing condolences. Following this, CEO Park Eun-hye opened the stage with a pipe organ performance. Delivering a grand and rich pipe organ melody of the world-famous musical masterpiece "The Phantom of the Opera," CEO Park provided deep emotion to the audience.

The concert featured top-tier artists encompassing classical music, musicals, and jazz, presenting a diverse stage transcending genre boundaries. Musical actors Enoch and Lee Ah-reum-sol captured the stage with rich expressiveness, baritone Noh Hyun-woo showcased delicate musicality, and saxophonist Danny Jung added romance with sensational performances, drawing enthusiastic responses from the audience.

In particular, the concert held special meaning as it opened some seats not only to supporters club members but also to Bucheon citizens, sharing the true meaning of support. Recording a complete sell-out within just one minute of ticket opening, the event confirmed high public interest. It served as a meaningful occasion to share the value and opportunities of culture and arts created through sponsorship, and to reflect on the virtuous cycle where support leads to citizens' enjoyment of culture and arts.

Park Eun-hye, CEO of Bucheon Arts Center, remarked, "I sincerely thank all the supporters who have sent their interest and support for the growth and development of the BAC Supporters Club over the past year," adding, "We will continue to work closely with the supporters club to ensure that the value of support translates into expanded cultural and artistic enjoyment for citizens and connects to the sustainable growth of local culture and arts."
