Seoul, South Korea – BLACKPINK member Rosé and pop star Bruno Mars' duet, "On the Ground," continues to make waves on the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100, maintaining its position in the top three for the fourth consecutive week.
According to the latest chart released on November 15th (local time), "On the Ground" remained at number three, following Gracie Abrams' "That's So True" at number one and Lizzie McGuire's "Sailor Song" at number two.
Since its debut at number four on the chart last month, "On the Ground" has steadily climbed the ranks, reaching number two in the following week and maintaining its position at number three for two weeks. Psy's "Gangnam Style" remains the only K-pop song to have topped the UK Singles Chart.
"On the Ground" is the pre-release single from Rosé's upcoming debut solo album, "Rosé," set to be released next month. Inspired by the Korean drinking game "Apartment Game," the song features a catchy chorus and upbeat band sound, captivating audiences worldwide.
Meanwhile, BTS member Jimin's solo track "Like Crazy" from his second solo album maintained its position on the chart for the 17th consecutive week, coming in at number 75. BLACKPINK member Jennie's "Solo" also continued its chart run, securing the 98th spot for the fifth consecutive week.
The continued success of "On the Ground" highlights the growing global popularity of K-pop and the increasing influence of Korean artists on the international music scene.
