Chungnam Province operates a promotional booth for Chungnam tourism at the 107th National Sports Festival in Jeju from October 16 to 22

Chungnam Province has carried out domestic tourist attraction activities by promoting the province's diverse tourism charms at the National Sports Festival, where athletes and visitors from all over the country gathered.

The province operated a Chungnam tourism promotional booth at the Jeju World Cup Stadium plaza from October 16 to 22 during the 107th National Sports Festival, introducing major autumn tourism resources and travel contents in the province to athletes, officials, and visitors.

This promotional booth was designed to raise awareness of Chungnam tourism and lead to actual visits by utilizing the characteristics of the National Sports Festival, in which many athletes and visitors from all over the country participate.

The province introduced visitors to the promotional booth with tourism contents highlighting regional characteristics such as representative tourist destinations, local festivals, gastronomy, and experiences, and provided information tailored to their travel purposes and areas of interest.

In addition, through a tourism marketing survey, the province identified visitors' travel preferences and areas of interest, and conducted promotion linked to Chungnam tourism's social networking services (SNS) to increase on-site participation and induce sustained interest.

Going forward, the province plans to expand customized on-site promotions considering the characteristics of large-scale events and main participant groups, while concurrently conducting online promotions to raise awareness of Chungnam tourism and strive to attract domestic tourists.

A provincial official said, "We will continue to strengthen on-site promotions linked to national-scale events to widely publicize the province's tourism resources," and requested much interest and visits regarding Chungnam tourism.
