The Faculty of Humanities at the University of Indonesia Visits Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies to Discuss Exchange and Cooperation

Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (President Jang Ji-ho) announced that a delegation from the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Indonesia (Universitas Indonesia, hereinafter UI), Indonesia's top national comprehensive university, made an official visit on April 15th.

Established in 1849, UI is Indonesia's highest-ranking national comprehensive university, placing 237th globally and 1st in Indonesia according to the 2024 QS World University Rankings. The Faculty of Humanities at UI has been continuously dedicated to Korean language and culture education since establishing its Korean major in 2006. This visit was arranged at UI's request to enhance friendship and establish a practical foundation for academic exchange between UI and Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies actively responded to this, preparing a meaningful meeting to explore cooperation methods.

On this day, the UI delegation, including the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Bondan Kunumoyoso, and the Vice Dean, Untung Yuwono, visited Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. Representing Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies were Dean Kim Byung-cheol, Director of the Global Education Center Won Jong-min, Dean of the Graduate School Lee Min-woo, Professor of the Department of Korean Language Noh Chae-hwan, and Professor of the Department of Vietnamese and Indonesian Studies Cho Min-sung, who welcomed the delegation. They discussed various forms of exchange, including △online-based credit exchange programs and △degree-linking programs, and formed a consensus to expand practical cooperation.
