Madrid, Spain - According to the results of the '2025 World Airport Awards' announced by the UK-based air service rating agency Skytrax at the 'Passenger Terminal EXPO' held in Madrid, Spain on April 9th, Asia's airports achieved a remarkable feat by occupying all top three positions in the world's best airport rankings.

The prestigious title of the World's Best Airport for 2025 was awarded to Singapore Changi Airport. Changi Airport has already won this award 12 times thanks to its outstanding service, facilities, and innovative operations. In this year's awards, Changi Airport was also recognized as having the 'World's Best Airport Dining', the 'World's Best Airport Washrooms', and the 'Best Airport in Asia', reaffirming its status as the undisputed world's best airport.

Mr. Lee Seow Hiang, CEO of Changi Airport Group, expressed his delight at the recognition, stating, "We are deeply honored to receive this recognition, which motivates us to strive even harder to provide the best possible travel experiences." He thanked passengers for their unwavering trust and expressed deep gratitude to the Changi Airport community for their dedication. He added, "As air travel continues to grow, we remain committed to ensuring that passengers have magical experiences at Changi Airport."

Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar, which has been named the World's Best Airport three times in the past, secured second place this year. Hamad International Airport was also recognized as having the 'World's Best Airport Shopping' and the 'Best Airport in the Middle East', solidifying its position as the premier hub airport in the Middle East region.

Tokyo International Airport (Haneda), which handles over 70 million passengers annually, topped the 'Best Airport for Passenger Handling' category. Following closely were Singapore Changi Airport, handling between 60 and 70 million passengers, and Hamad International Airport, handling between 50 and 60 million passengers, in second and third place, respectively.

In addition, Tokyo International Airport (Haneda) was recognized as the 'World's Cleanest Airport (Major Airport)', the 'World's Best Domestic Airport', and the 'World's Best Airport PRM and Accessible Facilities', receiving high praise in all aspects of facilities and services.

The results of this year's Skytrax World Airport Awards once again highlighted the exceptional competitiveness of Asian airports on the global stage. In particular, Singapore Changi Airport, Hamad International Airport, and Tokyo International Airport (Haneda) are leading the development of the global aviation industry with their innovative services and convenient facilities, and they are expected to continue their efforts to provide the best possible experiences for travelers worldwide. Furthermore, Incheon International Airport also contributed to enhancing the status of Asian airports by ranking fourth globally.
