Seoul, South Korea – [Date] – Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) has once again been honored for its outstanding contributions to the community. For the sixth consecutive year, aT has been selected as a recipient of the 2024 Community Contribution Recognition, as jointly organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Social Welfare Society.
This year, aT achieved the highest level of recognition (Level 5) for the third consecutive time, highlighting its consistent commitment to social responsibility.
The 'Community Contribution Recognition' is a prestigious award that acknowledges companies and organizations that have formed strong partnerships with non-profit organizations to carry out meaningful community service projects. To be eligible, organizations must demonstrate excellence in environmental management, social responsibility, and governance.
aT has been at the forefront of social contribution initiatives, focusing on addressing local challenges through innovative programs. These include establishing an ESG-linked social contribution system, providing food packages to low-income families, and supporting vocational training for individuals with developmental disabilities.
