The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, together with the Korea International Cultural Exchange Promotion Agency (Director Park Chang-sik) and the Korean Cultural Center in the UAE, has been running the '2024 Korea Season' in the UAE from October last year to April this year. 'Korea Season' is a project that has been selecting countries with a large ripple effect of the Korean Wave every year since 2022 and introducing Korean culture in various fields such as tourism and content, focusing on cultural and artistic performances and exhibitions for several months. It serves as a brand to inform the world that Korea is a leading country in culture and arts. In the UAE, a total of 13 performances, exhibitions, and cultural experience events are being held around Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
'Korea Season in Korea360', which will be held in Dubai, the largest city in the UAE, is the 12th event of this 'Korea Season' and was prepared in cooperation with the UAE Business Center of the Korea Creative Content Agency (Acting Director Yoo Hyun-seok). In the indoor performance hall of 'Korea360 in the UAE', popular Korean drama theme songs and fusion Korean traditional music performances will be presented, and in the exhibition space, fan signing events, Korean cultural experience events, and screenings of K-pop and Korean drama promotional videos will be held. Singer K.Will, Gummy, and fusion Korean traditional music group Queen will participate. This performance is expected to serve as an opportunity for local Korean Wave fans, as well as those who have newly gained interest in Korea through the 'Korea Season' held so far, to pay attention to the overseas promotion center 'Korea360' which will be opened soon.
