▲ South Chungcheong Province improves the quality of the real estate price disclosure system |
[Global Economic Times] South Chungcheong Province, Seoul City, Gyeonggi Province, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport are joining forces to improve the quality of the real estate price disclosure system. The province was the only non-metropolitan local government to participate.
The province announced on the 17th at the Sejong Government Complex that Shin Dong-heon, head of the Provincial Autonomy and Safety Office, Nam Young-woo, land policy director at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Kim Jin-man, Seoul City Finance Director, and Gyeonggi Province Land Information Division Director Koh China signed an ‘Agreement for a pilot research project for the Real Estate Price Verification Support Center.’
According to the agreement, the four organizations will establish a publicly announced price verification support center in local governments and promote pilot research projects to increase the accuracy and transparency of publicly announced real estate prices.
The main content is related to the publicly announced housing price system currently operated by the Korea Real Estate Board through a self-verification system from survey to calculation and verification, and the local government verification support center participates in the publicly announced price calculation, reviews market balance, and first reviews on objections. Shin Dong-heon, head of the Local Government Safety Department, said, “The publicly announced price is a very important factor in determining local tax burden,” and added, “We will do our best to increase the reliability, accuracy, and transparency of the publicly announced real estate price by successfully implementing the pilot research project.”
