Kia Unveils Striking Design of its First Electric Sedan, the EV4

Kia has revealed the exterior design of its highly anticipated EV4, the brand's first electric sedan. Following the successful launches of the EV6, EV9, and EV3, the EV4 marks Kia's fourth dedicated electric vehicle for the domestic market and a significant step in democratizing electric mobility.

The EV4 stands out with its innovative silhouette, a departure from the SUV-dominated EV landscape. This model showcases Kia's vision for next-generation electric sedans.

Key design elements include:

Distinctive Front Fascia: Vertical headlamps and Star Map signature lighting integrate seamlessly with the iconic Tiger Face, creating a bold and recognizable look. The geometrically patterned lower bumper adds a touch of dynamism.
Sleek Profile: A smooth, continuous line flows from the low-slung hood to the rear, complemented by black cladding around the wheel arches for a refined aesthetic.
Unique 19-inch Wheels: The wheels feature an unconventional design that reflects Kia's 'Opposites United' design philosophy, exuding a futuristic vibe.
Innovative Roof Spoiler: Unlike traditional sedans, the EV4 incorporates a roof spoiler at the edges of the body, accentuating its groundbreaking silhouette.
Rear Design: Vertical taillamps mirror the front lighting, emphasizing the wide stance of the trunk. The lower bumper design enhances the clean and uncluttered rear appearance.
The EV4 GT-line further enhances the dynamic styling with exclusive design elements. The wing-shaped front and rear bumpers create a more assertive presence, while the unique 19-inch wheels emphasize a futuristic and sporty character.

"The EV4 represents Kia's commitment to redefining mobility through design," said Karim Habib, Executive Vice President and Head of Kia Global Design. "This electric sedan offers a sophisticated yet practical user experience tailored to diverse lifestyles."

Kia will unveil the interior design and detailed specifications of the EV4 at the '2025 Kia EV Day' in Tarragona, Spain, later this month, along with its expanded electrification strategy.
