Brussels, Belgium – March 23, 2025 – A spirited celebration marking Pakistan Day was held in a local Brussels restaurant, bringing together a diverse gathering of Pakistani expatriates to commemorate their homeland's rich history and reaffirm their commitment to its future. The event, held on March 23rd, 2025, resonated with patriotic fervor and community solidarity.

Organized through the collaborative efforts of Raja Muhammad Khalid, Chairman of the Pakistan Overseas Forum Belgium, and Farid Khan, the dynamic force behind the We Are Pakistan Forum, the evening was a testament to the strong community spirit among Pakistanis in Belgium.

The celebration prominently featured tributes to the historic Lahore Resolution of March 23rd, 1940, a pivotal moment that paved the way for Pakistan's creation. Attendees paid homage to the visionary leaders and the collective resolve that transformed the dream of a separate nation into reality.

A significant portion of the event was dedicated to recognizing the invaluable contributions of Pakistan's Armed Forces in maintaining national security and stability. Community leader Sardar Saddique expressed deep gratitude for the unwavering dedication of the Pakistan Army, led by Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, in protecting Pakistan's sovereignty and addressing both internal and external threats.

The gathering also served as a crucial platform for the Pakistani diaspora to demonstrate their unwavering support for their homeland. Participants emphasized their role in promoting a positive image of Pakistan on the global stage and their commitment to fostering unity among overseas Pakistanis.

The evening concluded with a renewed pledge from the community to uphold the principles of peace, progress, and patriotism. Attendees reaffirmed their dedication to strengthening Pakistan and enhancing its resilience in the face of future challenges. The event underscored the enduring bond between the Pakistani diaspora in Belgium and their homeland, reinforcing their collective desire for a prosperous and stable Pakistan.
