The Paraguayan Chamber of Electronic Commerce (Capace), with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC), has officially announced the holding of the 3rd Expo eCommerce, the most significant event in Paraguay's e-commerce sector. The event will take place on June 10th at the Sheraton Asunción Hotel, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

This Expo eCommerce aims to boost domestic digital commerce and provide a networking platform for entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), businesspeople, and both domestic and international experts. A particular emphasis will be placed on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cybersecurity, highlighting their growing importance in the field. Paraguayan e-commerce has shown continuous growth in recent years, with an annual growth rate of 20-30%, and this event is expected to further accelerate this trend.

Expo eCommerce 2025 serves as a strategic platform for building businesses, strengthening partnerships, and fostering economic growth in the e-commerce sector. For domestic companies, especially SMEs, it offers an opportunity to explore new digital tools and strategies to enhance their competitiveness and promote growth in both domestic and international markets. In today's environment, e-commerce is a crucial development path that helps businesses expand their horizons and adapt to changing consumer demands.

During the event, conferences and panel discussions featuring prominent experts will be held. Key discussion topics include:

Global and Regional E-commerce Trends: Analyzing the rapidly evolving digital commerce market and forecasting its future.
Digital Marketing, Artificial Intelligence, and Automation: Exploring ways to maximize efficiency through AI-powered marketing strategies and automation solutions.
Integrated Commerce and Customer Experience: Discussing how to provide a seamless and consistent customer experience through omnichannel strategies.
Announcement of the Formalization Plan for MSMEs (Plan de Formalización para Mipymes): This plan, promoted by the Vice-Ministry of MSMEs in Paraguay, is a comprehensive support program designed to help small and medium-sized businesses formally enter the market. Through this initiative, MSMEs can benefit from streamlined registration procedures, reduced fees, ongoing support, free training, technical assistance, business promotion, access to domestic and international markets, and advantages in government procurement. Law No. 7444, amended in 2025, further facilitates this formalization process and strengthens financial support.
New Customer Segments and E-commerce Diversity: Discussing connecting with Gen Z and Alpha generations, inclusive marketing, and advanced segmentation strategies.
Digital Payments and FinTech: Presenting directions for the development of innovative payment systems and FinTech technologies.
Cybersecurity and Data Protection: Delving into methods for securely protecting businesses and customer data in the digital environment.
Delivery and Logistics: Sharing the latest trends in efficient delivery systems and logistics solutions.
Digital Transformation of Retail and New Business Models: Exploring changing business models such as the role of marketplaces, the collaborative economy, and subscription-based models.
In addition to the conferences, Expo eCommerce will feature over 20 digital service providers showcasing innovative solutions for e-commerce development, optimization, and expansion. Attendees will have access to a variety of tools needed to vitalize their digital businesses and start selling online. Key players such as e-commerce platform VTEX and payment solutions company Dinelco are expected to participate, introducing their latest technologies and services.

Andrés Beirano, President of Capace, emphasized, "Expo eCommerce is happening at the right time to connect those who are leading the future of digital commerce in Paraguay. This is a place where ideas, solutions, and partners who transform the market meet. If you want your business to grow, this is where you need to be."
