The Busan Citizens Park History Museum, affiliated with the Provisional Capital Memorial Hall, will operate the "Every Nook and Cranny Citizens Park Mission Expedition Team" from October 10 to 31*, where participants explore historical remains within Busan Citizens Park while solving missions.

The program runs only on Saturdays and Sundays (excluding October 24).
This program was designed for students to explore the historical remains of Busan Citizens Park and learn about the modern and contemporary history of Camp Hayauria (currently Busan Citizens Park).

The program focuses on the preserved buildings currently remaining within Busan Citizens Park. Participants, accompanied by a mission expedition leader, will directly tour modern and contemporary historical sites within the park, such as the Officers' Club, Non-Commissioned Officers' Quarters, Quonset* huts, and the Beomjeon-dong Village Well.

The mission expedition is structured so that participants can experience history firsthand on-site, examining the formation background, meaning, and current usage of each facility.

In addition to the expedition leader's explanations, mission cards are provided so children can actively participate and enjoy the program. Children directly explore the locations and perform missions, and after completing all tasks, they can obtain lucky cards to use in a dice game.

After finishing the expedition, a team-battle dice game utilizing the "" is conducted. Divided into a children's team and a guardian's team, participants use a map-shaped dice board of Citizens Park to review the places toured during the expedition and examine locations they did not visit. Furthermore, through quizzes, they funly recall and naturally organize what they have learned.

The target participants are all grades of elementary school, and the participation fee is free. The number of participants per session is 8 elementary school students, and applications are closed on a first-come, first-served basis. When participating, one adult guardian must accompany each child.

Applications can be made from October 1 to October 29 on the Busan Citizens Park History Museum website (busan.go.kr/citizenpark). To provide high-quality educational programs, additional participation by family members such as brothers and sisters, excluding the registered applicant and one guardian, is not permitted.

Meanwhile, the Busan Citizens Park History Museum opened in 2014 to publicize the historical and symbolic value of the site after the return of the Camp Hayauria site and the creation of Citizens Park.

Ryu Seung-hoon, Director of the Provisional Capital Memorial Hall, stated, "The 'Citizens Park Mission Expedition Team' held in the first half of the year received a great response from citizens. It was a program equipped with both fun and educational effects, as children and guardians performed missions together and reviewed what they learned through the expedition with a dice game." He added, "We hope this program will be an opportunity to funly learn about the traces of modern and contemporary history remaining in Citizens Park and raise interest in Citizens Park, one of the heritage sites of Busan as a refugee capital."
