Cheonan, South Korea - Cheonan City is thrilled to announce its upcoming "Cheonan Children's Happiness Week," scheduled to take place from May 1st to 6th in celebration of the 103rd National Children's Day. Under the vibrant theme "Gather! Play! Dream! LaLaLa Cheonan Children's Festival," the week-long event promises a diverse array of engaging programs designed for children and their families to enjoy and connect throughout Cheonan.

The festivities will be structured around four exciting themes: Festa Day, Culture Day, Arts Day, and Sports Day, ensuring a wide range of activities to cater to various interests.

The highlight of the week, Festa Day, will be held on Children's Day itself, May 5th, at Cheonan City Sports Park. This celebratory day will feature an official Children's Day ceremony alongside a "LaLaLa Playground," captivating children's performances, and interactive experience booths brimming with fun and excitement for the young attendees.

Culture Day, spanning from May 1st to 4th across various locations in Cheonan, will offer enriching cultural experiences. Families can look forward to family movie screenings, an art competition showcasing young talent, and a delightful "LaLaLa Pizza Making" session where children can get hands-on in creating their own delicious pizzas.

Art Day will take center stage from May 4th to 6th at the Cheonan Children's Dream Center. This segment will proudly display the winning entries from the art competition, as well as a charming exhibition of children's photography, offering a glimpse into the creative world of Cheonan's youth.

Concluding the week's celebrations is Sports Day on May 6th. The Cheonan Sports Complex auxiliary stadium will transform into a hub of energetic activity as it hosts the "LaLaLa Football Festival" in collaboration with Cheonan City FC. This event promises a fun-filled day of football-related games and activities for children.

Enthusiastic families looking to participate in the family movie screenings, the "LaLaLa Pizza Making," and the "LaLaLa Football Festival" can register on a first-come, first-served basis from April 7th to 20th. To ensure broad participation, duplicate applications for these specific events will be limited.

In addition to these main events, the Cheonan Children's Happiness Week will also feature supplementary events such as the aforementioned art competition and a dynamic "Dancing Kids Competition," adding even more opportunities for children to showcase their talents and have fun. Detailed schedules and further information about all the events can be found on the official Cheonan Children's Day website.

Cheonan Mayor Park Sang-don expressed his hopes for the event, stating, "Through this week-long celebration, I hope that children can laugh to their hearts' content and feel happiness while spending quality time with their families. Above all, we will prioritize the safety of our children and meticulously prepare to ensure that all families can participate with peace of mind."

This comprehensive week of activities underscores Cheonan City's commitment to fostering a joyful and enriching environment for its youngest citizens and their families.
