DAEJEON, South Korea – Daejeon City is making significant strides in supporting local startups to expand their reach into the global market. The city's recent initiatives, such as the participation in CES 2025 and the expansion of the Startup Korea Investment Week (SIW), are designed to provide startups with the resources and connections they need to succeed on the world stage.

At CES 2025, Daejeon will be showcasing 33 of its most promising startups, connecting them with potential investors and partners. The city's participation in this global tech event is a testament to its commitment to fostering innovation and supporting its startup ecosystem.

Furthermore, Daejeon is expanding its SIW to the United States, partnering with SOSV to provide local startups with access to the Silicon Valley ecosystem. This initiative, along with collaborations with countries like Vietnam and Taiwan, is creating a network of support that can help Daejeon's startups scale globally.

Through these initiatives, Daejeon is positioning itself as a leading startup hub in Asia. By providing comprehensive support services, including access to funding, mentorship, and international markets, the city is empowering its startups to achieve their full potential.
