Daegu to Host 23rd International Textile Fair Showcasing High-Tech and Sustainable Innovations

Daegu Metropolitan City has announced the opening of the 23rd Daegu International Textile Fair (Preview In Daegu) at EXCO from March 5th to 7th. This comprehensive exhibition will feature a wide range of textile materials, machinery, and fashion products, showcasing the fusion of tradition and cutting-edge technology.

Key Highlights:

Diverse Exhibitors: Over 261 domestic and international companies will participate, setting up 470 booths to display their latest offerings.
Sustainable High-Tech Pavilion: A special pavilion will highlight sustainable and high-tech advancements, including:Ultra-realistic 3D fashion digitization services.
AI-powered fashion photo shoot solutions.
Nano-fiber cell culture technologies.
Trend Forum: Visitors can explore the future of textile fashion with a preview of the 2026 spring/summer trends, featuring designs and technologies.
Conferences and Seminars: The fair will host various conferences and seminars covering global textile and fashion market trends, including brand resale, eco-certification, and fashion tech.
"Textile and Fashion Meet" Exhibition: On March 5th and 6th, local fashion designers and textile companies will showcase collaborative designs, with opportunities for visitors to purchase unique fashion items.

Focus on Innovation and Sustainability:

This year's fair emphasizes the integration of advanced technologies, such as AI, big data, and robotics, into the textile and fashion industry. It also places a strong emphasis on sustainable practices, reflecting the growing global demand for eco-friendly products.

Vision for the Future:

Daegu Mayor Hong Joon-pyo expressed optimism about the future of the city's textile and fashion industry, stating, "Despite the challenges posed by industrial changes and prolonged economic downturn, the textile and fashion industry, which has been the foundation of Daegu's development, still holds great potential. We expect to create new opportunities through the transformation of the industrial structure in connection with future new industries such as ABB (AI, Big Data, Blockchain) and robots."

The 23rd Daegu International Textile Fair is expected to provide a platform for industry professionals, buyers, and visitors to explore the latest innovations and trends in the global textile and fashion market.
