Daejeon, South Korea – The Daejeon Fire Headquarters is conducting mobile training for paramedics from March 4th to 7th, 2025, to enhance their on-site response capabilities and improve emergency medical services.

The training will focus on sharing various issues paramedics encounter in the field and major emergency medical service complaint cases, as well as discussing recurrence prevention measures. In particular, it will address the challenges paramedics face due to the prolonged medical strike, exploring ways to ensure prompt patient transport, such as checking hospital acceptance availability and addressing long waiting times.

Additionally, the training will cover response measures in the event of assaults within ambulances and gather opinions to strengthen on-site safety, aiming to create a more efficient and secure working environment for paramedics.

"Through this mobile training, we will gather various opinions from the field and continuously improve emergency medical service operations based on them," said Kang Dae-hoon, head of the Daejeon Fire Headquarters. "We will continue to prioritize the lives of citizens and do our best to provide faster and more systematic emergency medical services."
