Cheonan, South Korea - The city of Cheonan announced on April 2nd the launch of its "Office Health Keeper" program, an initiative designed to bring health management services directly to local workplaces. Recognizing the challenges faced by busy professionals in accessing traditional healthcare facilities, the city aims to proactively support the well-being of its working population.

The program specifically targets common health concerns such as obesity, cardiovascular disease, and smoking. Health professionals from the Cheonan public health center will visit participating businesses to deliver tailored health management programs. These on-site services will provide employees with convenient access to health education, screenings, and personalized advice, all within their workplace environment.

In addition to direct interventions, the "Office Health Keeper" program will empower businesses to foster a culture of health within their own organizations. The city plans to designate a "health keeper" within each participating workplace. These individuals will receive training and resources to implement and manage their own internal health programs, creating a sustainable approach to employee wellness.

Jeong Jeong-hee, Director of the Dongnam-gu Public Health Center, emphasized the significance of this collaborative effort. "The Office Health Keeper program marks an important first step in a partnership between public institutions and businesses to promote the health of our working citizens," she stated. "We are committed to developing and expanding these types of programs in the future to create a healthier Cheonan for everyone."
