Cheonan, South Korea – The Cheonan Sports Council for the Disabled (Chairman Park Sang-don) announced on April 2nd its successful selection for the Korea Paralympic Committee's (KPC) "Disabled Winter and Summer Leisure Sports Camp" grant program, securing 18 million KRW in national funding.
The KPC conducted a nationwide open call for proposals targeting 17 metropolitan and provincial sports councils for the disabled, as well as 158 city and district councils. Cheonan's council was among only six organizations selected for this prestigious initiative. Notably, the Cheonan Sports Council for the Disabled was the sole successful applicant among all city and district-level organizations across the country.
The secured national funding of 18 million KRW (approximately $[Insert Approximate USD Equivalent Here]) will be instrumental in organizing and operating inclusive leisure sports camps during both the winter and summer seasons.
