[GLOBAL ECONOMIC TIMES] Samsung Electronics announced on the 24th that it will expand the supported languages of ‘Galaxy AI’ to 20.
Four new languages, including Dutch, Romanian, Swedish, and Turkic, have been added to the existing 16 languages, supporting a total of 20 languages.
Galaxy AI provides functions such as 'Real-time Interpretation', which interprets voices in real time during a call, 'Interpretation', which immediately translates face-to-face conversations and displays them as text on split/dual screens, and 'Chat Assist', which helps with efficient chatting.
Galaxy AI-supported products include Galaxy Fold 6, Flip 6, Fold 5, Flip 5, Fold 4, Flip 4, S24 Series, S23 Series, S22 Series, S24 FE, S23 FE, Tab S10 Series, Tab S9 Series, and Tab S8 Series. etc.
Users of Galaxy AI-enabled products will be able to download and use the newly supported languages in the Settings app starting from the end of October.
Samsung Electronics said, “Galaxy AI supports free communication and creative activities that overcome language barriers through innovative functions that speak 20 languages,” adding, “Galaxy AI is an advanced ‘Galaxy AI that understands culture beyond language and has relevant knowledge. “For ‘AI,’ R&D centers around the world are focusing on research and development of language models,” he said.
