Buenos Aires, Argentina - Sung Hyun Kim delivered a strong performance at the Korn Ferry Tour's Visa Argentina Open, finishing as a runner-up. 1 The tournament, held at the Jockey Club in Buenos Aires, saw Kim card a final-round 4-under-par 66. 2
Kim's impressive showing placed him in a tie for second, five strokes behind the tournament winner, Justin Suh. This marks Kim's second runner-up finish on the Korn Ferry Tour this season, following his similar result at the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic in January.
After finishing outside the top 125 in the previous PGA Tour FedEx Cup standings, Kim was relegated to the Korn Ferry Tour. His strong performances this season have propelled him to fourth place in the Korn Ferry Tour points rankings, significantly boosting his chances of a return to the PGA Tour next year.
Justin Suh's Victory
Justin Suh, who also moved to the Korn Ferry Tour after finishing 165th in the FedEx Cup rankings last year, claimed victory with a final-round 5-under-par 65. His total score of 23-under-par 257 earned him the championship.
Suh, a former world number one amateur and 2022 Korn Ferry Tour points leader, has now secured his second career Korn Ferry Tour victory, following his win at the 2022 Korn Ferry Tour Championship. This win also elevated Suh from 37th to 2nd in the points rankings.
