Raza’s All-Round Masterclass Leads Pak Stars to Dominant Victory

DAR ES SALAAM – Pak Stars secured a resounding 113-run victory over Dar Indian Titans in a DC Super League 50-over clash at Burhani Oval on Sunday, thanks to an exceptional all-round performance from Hassan Raza.

Raza shone with both bat and ball. His crucial 93 runs (120 balls) anchored the Pak Stars innings, propelling them to a challenging 291/8. Contributions from Mohammad Ali (43), Basit Raza (37), and Farhan Atiq (21) further bolstered the total.

The Titans struggled to contain Raza and the other Pak Stars batsmen. While Ally Hafidh managed to grab three wickets and Nyenje Hashim chipped in with two, the Pak Stars total proved too imposing.

Raza then turned his magic to bowling, dismantling the Titans’ chase with a spell of 3 wickets for just 17 runs. His breakthroughs were pivotal in restricting the Titans, who were eventually bowled out for 178. Mohammad Ali also impressed with two wickets.

Despite some resistance from Gurvinder Singh (30) and Ally Hafidh (27), the Titans never looked like reaching the target. The Pak Stars bowlers maintained consistent pressure, ensuring a comfortable win.

The victory moves Pak Stars into third place in Group A, while the Titans remain winless after three matches.
