The Bucheon City Youth Counseling and Welfare Center (Director Baek Jin-hyun), operated by the Bucheon Women and Youth Foundation (CEO Lee Kang-in), held a meeting for special class teachers from 6 local schools on the 14th at the Wonjong branch of the Youth Cafe "Rainbow." The meeting focused on discussing daily care within the community and cooperation strategies utilizing youth cafes.

This meeting was arranged to expand opportunities for special class students to participate in the community, explore ways to utilize youth-exclusive self-use spaces, and seek directions for linkage between schools and the local community.

Opened in October 2021, Youth Cafe Wonjong Branch is a youth self-use space operated to provide comfortable resting, leisure activities, and necessary emotional support for youth. It is equipped with various leisure facilities such as board games, table tennis, and Nintendo, along with a dance practice room and multi-rooms. It supports emotional stability and healthy relationship building for youth through ▲ seasonal experiential activities, ▲ emotional support programs linked with village activists, and ▲ 1-on-1 emotional support mentoring with university student mentors.

During the meeting, participants discussed ways to utilize the youth cafe considering the characteristics and educational needs of special class students. In particular, they introduced cases of space utilization linked with school curricula, guided teachers through school-specific visiting procedures and usage methods, and shared practical cooperation measures.

Baek Jin-hyun, Director of the Bucheon City Youth Counseling and Welfare Center, stated, "We will cooperate with schools to expand community activity opportunities and customized emotional support for special class youth, ensuring that youth cafes become spaces providing everyday emotional stability and care."
