TAVERNE, Switzerland – A musical revolution is brewing in the Swiss countryside as Powerhill, a unique band from Taverne, introduces the world to their self-styled genre: "farm metal." Their explosive, humorous, and rousing sound is shaking up the rural idyll, starting with their debut single, "Powerhill."

Powerhill's band anthem is a high-energy track that showcases their distinctive blend of powerful melodies and tongue-in-cheek humor. The single is accompanied by an epic and wildly entertaining lyric video, directed by English videographer Andy Pilkington (known for his work with Motörhead, Judas Priest, and Saxon), which features the band's iconic mascot, Clotilde, and her animal band.

Led by vocalist Veronica Torre, and backed by thunderous riffs and high-energy drumming from Clotilde, the band's sound is a surprising yet compelling mix of metal and farmyard charm. Guitarist, mastermind, and producer Alberto ‘Cep’ Ceppi, along with bassist Luca ‘Chewbe’ Gentile and drum legend Jörg Michael (formerly of Stratovarius, Running Wild, and Axel Rudi Pell), have crafted a debut album, "Generation X," set for release on June 27 via Dr. Music Records.

The album, recorded and mixed at Stairway Studio under the supervision of Stefano Scenini and mastered by George Nerantzis, features ten diverse tracks filled with catchy anthems and humorous accents. Graphic designer Thomas Ewerhard has given Clotilde, the iconic cow, a striking visual branding, with her posing in a glowing ’80s-inspired cityscape on the album cover.

Powerhill is launching their album with three singles, each accompanied by stunning artwork and creative videos that perfectly capture their "farm metal" spirit. The "Powerhill" lyric video, now available, showcases the band turning a farm into a vibrant festival stage.

"Generation X" delivers electrifying hard rock riffs and anthemic melodies, blending Alpine romance with heavy riffs. Powerhill aims to bring a breath of fresh air to the rock and metal scene. With Clotilde, now sporting a brand-new facelift and full rocker gear, leading the charge, the band is set to storm the rock world.

Switzerland, known for legendary bands like Gotthard, Krokus, and Killer, is now witnessing the rise of Powerhill. Their high-energy live shows, featuring Clotilde, promise an unforgettable "farm metal" experience. With their unique sound and captivating stage presence, Powerhill is poised to win over fans and critics alike, inviting them on a countryside adventure that will thrill classic hard rock and heavy metal enthusiasts. The "Powerhill" single is now available on all major download stores and streaming services.
