Sangdong Community Welfare Center is running a Tumblbug funding campaign to ensure the continued operation of "Cheongnyeon Moyeorak," a youth space where young people in the Sangdong and Jungdong areas of Bucheon can comfortably stay, build relationships, and participate in various activities.
"Cheongnyeon Moyeorak" is a space designed to deliver the message to young people that "it is okay to fail," allowing them to visit without burden, rest, connect with new people, and take on diverse experiences.
In the first half of 2026 alone, 317 young people visited Cheongnyeon Moyeorak to participate in small group activities, cultural and leisure programs, and activity sessions. Here, young people have formed new relationships, shared their interests within the local community, and continued everyday exchanges.
However, the current space support for Cheongnyeon Moyeorak is scheduled to end in December 2026, leaving the task of securing a foundation for continued operation so that young people can comfortably stay and continue their activities next year.
In response, Sangdong Community Welfare Center has launched a Tumblbug funding campaign utilizing "Salpimi," a mind-guard cat, to sustain the operation of Cheongnyeon Moyeorak and its youth support activities.
"Salpimi" embodies the meaning of a mind-guard cat that quietly stays by the side of someone who is alone, even in moments when no one else notices. It is a character created to friendly convey the message of Cheongnyeon Moyeorak: that it is okay to be alone, and it is okay to take a short break when times are hard.

This funding campaign features a variety of merchandise, including plush doll keyrings, memo pads, and ballpoint pens, so that people can keep the meaning of Salpimi close in their daily lives. All proceeds from the funding, excluding production costs, will be used for the spatial operation of Cheongnyeon Moyeorak and youth support activities.
Through this funding campaign, Sangdong Community Welfare Center plans to share the value of a space where young people can stay with the local community, while establishing a foundation for youth to form new relationships within the local area and pursue various challenges.
Jung Seong-ki, Director of Sangdong Community Welfare Center, stated, "Cheongnyeon Moyeorak is not a space that young people can only visit when they do well at something, but a comfortable space they can visit whenever they want to take a short break. Just like Salpimi, we ask for your interest in the continued operation of Cheongnyeon Moyeorak so that the local community can stand by and guard the side of our youth."
Detailed information regarding the operation of Cheongnyeon Moyeorak and the funding can be found on the Tumblbug funding page.
