Daejeon, South Korea – The fervent enthusiasm for Daejeon’s Hometown Love Donation campaign continues to soar into the new year.
Popular singer Kim Eui-young, serving as the campaign’s honorary ambassador, made a generous donation of 5 million won to the city on [Date].
"I've been at the forefront of promoting the Hometown Love Donation campaign for the past two years to support my hometown of Daejeon," said Kim. "As I renew my role as an ambassador this year, I am committed to encouraging even more people to express their love for Daejeon."

In 2025, we will strive to further activate the Hometown Love Donation campaign and provide more abundant benefits and diverse return gifts to our generous donors."
Starting this year, individuals can donate up to 20 million won under the Hometown Love Donation program. Donors are eligible for tax deductions and can receive return gifts worth up to 30% of their donation amount. Donations up to 100,000 won are fully tax-deductible, while donations exceeding 100,000 won are subject to a 16.5% deduction.
