San Bernardino, Paraguay – This summer, the tranquil city of San Bernardino is transforming into a literary haven. The "Literary Project San Ber 2025" is set to captivate audiences with a diverse array of literary events.

This unprecedented literary festival, held in conjunction with Paraguay's peak tourist season, aims to showcase the works of Paraguayan authors and instill a passion for reading in both locals and visitors. Beyond being a mere event, the project represents a significant step towards enriching the region's cultural landscape and making literature more accessible to the public.

Organized jointly by the Paraguayan Writers' Association (SEP) and the Ministry of Tourism, the festival will be held at the Casona Büttner until February 22nd. The program is packed with engaging activities, including author meet-and-greets, literary lectures, poetry readings, and storytelling sessions for children. Notably, renowned Paraguayan authors will be introducing their latest works and engaging in Q&A sessions with the audience, fostering a deeper connection between writers and readers.

Celeste Galeano, the project's organizer, expressed her hopes for the festival, stating, "We envision San Bernardino evolving from a mere vacation spot into a thriving cultural hub. Literature serves as a powerful tool for connection and shared experiences."

Clyde Cowen, a participating author, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing that, "Literature goes beyond mere entertainment. It enriches our lives and offers fresh perspectives on the world.
